Mt. Paozu seemed like an interesting spot for Moire to check out considering she's already gotten her fair share of exploration in the cities. It's always a joy speaking to the people of this planet, but sometimes she really needs to see just what the wilds of this planet has to offer, not to mention it gives her an opportunity to train without disturbing the local populace. She's guessed already that people would be afraid of regular ol' magic demonstrations considering Zaks' own display, though that could also be attributed to her little announcement before, but it's best not to try this sort of thing out in public. Of course she still has to contend with the wildlife and how they'll either panic at the sight of her magic or charge right at her in order to try and make her stop. She always hopes they choose the former...

In her case, however, it would be the latter as while she was busy firing off ki blast after ki blast into a set of trees, she managed to hit something on accident. Her eyes widen as she's a bit concerned that whatever she did hit was now lying dead, but her worry quickly turns to panic as a great, hulking mass soon emerges from the treeline. Of all of the things she could've hit, she managed to hit one of those giant lizards, the great beast charging right at her. Of course even when she's weighed down, the dinosaur stood little match against Moire's own might, so she just taps it away when it was about to hit her, pushing the beast back a few feet. She even prepares herself to push it back again when it charges at her again, though what she hadn't anticipated was a face-full of tail.

The impact sent the majin barreling across the sky, grazing the tops of trees occasionally until she finally makes a crash landing on a dirt road, shooting up a cloud of dust in the process and leaving behind a crater. Moire immediately gets up from her landing spot nd looks back in the direction of the dinosaur. She can't see it anymore, but she still couldn't help but burst a bit in rage, purple steam bellowing out of her pores as she shouts, "I said I was sorry, damnit! Why can't you just-" That's when she notices that she wasn't alone out here as her gaze shifts over to a human who had been traveling the road all by himself. Her face flushes a bit as she stands in place frozen and greets, "Uh... Hello. How are you?"

Despite her earlier yelling at seemingly nothing, the stranger seemed completely unbothered by Moire's little spout of anger as she attempts to get ahold of herself and put on at least somewhat of a good appearance. He even went so far as to shoot his hand out to help the majin out of the crater that she had just made, which she accepts. It wouldn't be hard to pull her out, though, as she slowly flies out of the hole she made, more so using the human's hand as a way to keep herself balanced just in case the landing was a far harder impact than she first thought. It wouldn't be the first time such a harsh impact had done that to her. Thankfully, it would prove to be unnecessary as the stranger also introduces himself as Taiyo Kodomo.

"Taiyo... It's a pleasure to meet you, Taiyo," she responds as she lands back onto the ground and lets their hands fall to rest, "My name is Majin Moire, but you can call me just Moire." As Moire settles and brushes the dust and debris off of her clothing to make sure she got just about everything off of herself, Taiyo mentions that he hasn't really seen anything like her, with the obvious exception being Liari. She looks right at the human, and in her mind she goes back to thinking about that majin in particular. She's been the big talk in recent news, causing chaos and destruction everywhere and is the main source for why Moire has at least faced some backlash for merely existing as Liari's given her kind a bad name. Despite that, Moire couldn't help but have a sense of... familiarity with Liari. Not because she remembers her, but because the majin reminds her of... something long ago?

She breaks out of her trance before brushing the subject off, stating, "Well, I'd hope that I'm a bit different from her given my own restraint... and I suppose my purple pigment... and my attire... and, er, are you-" Moire couldn't help but pause briefly as the human looked like that he was studying the majin up close. She'll get her answer as Taiyo explains that he was merely just curious as he's never met one in person, which was a natural reaction. Hell, the delivery boy back at Flare's place was shocked at the sight of Moire as well, so it wasn't exactly an uncommon reaction. "Oh I don't really mind. I know it's natural to look at something you're not quite familiar with. I get those looks a lot more often than you might realize."

Taiyo reassures Moire that he doesn't think that the majin is like Liari, going far beyond just appearances and more so judging based on her own behavior. Few civilians give Moire that opportunity to show just what kind of person she is, but thankfully there was at least one who would share a moment to see just who she is, though she doesn't entirely know who she herself is. After all, her memories were still locked, but that doesn't mean that she can't act without them. Destiny doesn't stop for anything, after all. "Well thank you kindly, Taiyo," she replies, "I've heard so many things about that Liari, and I just can't believe how much wonton destruction and chaos she's willing to commit. I really do wonder what's gotten her so riled up, though."

Once Moire was satisfied with all of the dust finally being off of her, she's able to focus entirely on the human standing in front of him. First impressions can be quite deceiving, and though the man certainly looked like he was some sort of hiker or nomad with a calm, relaxed appearance, those eyes tell a bit of a different story. He's been through his fair share of scuffles, and perhaps the majin should be thankful that he hasn't registered her as a threat. Taiyo makes sure that Moire was alright, noticing that she hasn't suffered any injuries until a familiar face returns to the fray, the majin's eyes widening at the sight of the dinosaur that had knocked her away moments ago. It was here already? These things really are fast, aren't they?

"Oh shit... I got it!" She exclaims as she conjures up two twin balls of purple ki, one in each hand before tossing them right at the dinosaur before flying right at him, fists at the ready. The beast was blinded for but a brief moment as it shields its eyes from the ki blasts, giving Moire enough time to swing and hit it in the face. The dinosaur recoils from the impact, though it wasn't enough to incapacitate it as Moire couldn't give it her all in one punch. These weights really were getting in the way of things, and it looks like it'll need more than one good solid hit. Taiyo suggest calming the beast down, though that ship has long since sailed since she first met it. As the dinosaur approaches to snap its jaws at Moire, the majin backs away and dodges before shouting, "Yeah, well, I think the time for calming down is long gone now! I'm the one that angered the guy in the first place! I swear it was an accident, but it wouldn't know!

While Moire was keeping the great big lizard busy by trying her best to avoid its jaws, it seems like Taiyo was busy watching on the sidelines. Not that the majin minded, of course, considering the fact that she was the one who angered the dinosaur in the first place, and it should be her to take care of it. Unfortunately for some reason the thing decided to switch targets after she pummeled the lizard with a few ki blasts and it glares right at the nomad as he panics and rescues his coffee, the two engaging in a staredown with each other. Moire immediately stops in her own tracks and begins floating back towards the dinosaur as it begins its charge towards Taiyo. She raises a fist up with the intent on knocking the beast away as soon as she's able to reach it.

Taiyo was quick to act, however, and just before the dinosaur was about to reach him he slaps the beast aside, sending it right into the treescape, though his little victory wouldn't last very long as mere seconds later it would get right back up. Moire continues her own charge as she plans on intercepting the dinosaur before it tries to strike Taiyo again, except for when the nomad drops his coffee. For mere moments it seemed like everyone had stopped in their tracks, with Taiyo tearing up over the loss of both his morning coffee and his smoke, the dinosaur seemingly confused with what's happening, and Moire very much confused with what was happening in front of her. No party really knew what to do next, which meant that it was Moire's turn to finally put a bow on this whole situation.

Acting first, Moire flies directly towards the dinosaur and extends both of her hands out, plowing her body into the side of the dinosaur and lifting it up into the air. The weights she still had on made it difficult to pull off, but eventually she was able to get it up a good few dozen meters before finally tossing it away with all of her strength, sending it quite a ways away into the forest, all while it screeches in fury. She didn't know if that was able to finish him off, but she hopes that it would at least discourage it from bothering her and Taiyo. Moire glances back down at the ground and floats to Taiyo's location, all the while extending her hand out before a sudden cloud of smoke envelops it. By the time she lands, the smoke had cleared, and in her hand lies a single white cup filled with pitch black coffee, still steaming hot. She extends it to the nomad and apologizes, "Heh... Sorry about all of that. Had I not landed here, you'd still have your first cup."

Taiyo was quick to accept the coffee that Moire had conjured, and the majin awaited in baited breathe to see what he thinks of such a brew. If she were completely honest, she didn't really know much about coffee aside from descriptions and what other people have said about it, so she didn't entirely know if hers would taste good at all. Once he started taking sips, though, it was clear that he was a fan of it, and his smile returns to his face once again, the happy little hiker content with his cup of joe. He comments how she's both strong and magical, emphasizing his jealousy of her capabilities. All Moire needed was one good look at Taiyo himself to know that he's also quite powerful in his own right as well, though the jury is still out regarding magic. "Don't sell yourself short there, I can feel your energy, and you look like you can pack a punch yourself."

He laments that he can't really pick up dinosaurs or fly around himself, though Moire knew that it shouldn't be the case forever. She mentions, "Well given your latent power, I'd give it a try. At least, start with some of the small fry first. Don't wanna startle one of the bigger ones like I did. As for flying, I'm sure there's some people who can teach you all about it. I myself am not much of a flight instructor, though. I'm certainly more akin to a magic teacher than anything." Though of course she couldn't help but look down at the sheathed swords, noticing that they were moving around somewhat unnaturally from just a mere touch. It didn't entirely seem like magic, but there was something about those blades that make them special.

Taiyo admits that he doesn't really care much for the spilled coffee now that Moire was safe and the dinosaur was taken care of, to which the majin beams him a smile as he looked over in the direction of the dinosaur. Moire couldn't hear much of anything in that direction, so perhaps the beast had finally taken off for good. The two then get back to their earlier conversation, with the swordsman mentioning that Liari must've had a reason to go berserk and start destroying and causing chaos wherever she went. Moire remains silent for a moment, her face returning to a more somber state before speaking up and stating, "Perhaps. Perhaps she does have a reason. Perhaps she doesn't. I know not what goes through that majin's head. I don't even believe that she had done this out of her own free will. Destiny can be like that sometimes, you know? You think you're traveling down one path, but your final destination says otherwise. Perhaps it came down to what she would eventually become."

It seems that the two will come to an agreement regarding Liari, that if there was a chance she could be saved from this path she's taken, then they'll do so. Moire, of course, was less optimistic about that outcome, believing that she has already achieved her ultimate destiny of becoming a wicked and cruel majin. Perhaps there was a way for her to avoid such a fate so soon, but alas that will be in the hands of her friends, should she still live. Moire gives a simple nod to Taiyo, mentioning, "A wise man said that I myself have latent potential. Since then I've been able to grow into who I am today, and it's only been mere weeks. I can feel a similar potential within you, Taiyo. Keep up with your routine, and you'll be able to make a difference. Who knows, you might even be the one to save everybody when no one else can."

The conversation between the duo was coming to its natural conclusion, and the nomad thanks Moire for the coffee while mentioning that he must take his leave to North City for some work. He speaks about receiving magic lessons from Moire before waving goodbye as he travels down the road, the majin immediately waving back to the man as he continued his path. "Farewell Taiyo. May we meet again soon," she states before lowering her hand back down to her side, watching as the man grew more and more distant with each step. After a bit of time has passed, the majin's gaze turns back towards  the tree line, and still not hearing any noise in that general direction, she steps off of the ground and begins to float away, wondering where she should head to next to avoid any future encounters with dinosaurs. She really does need to get back to her own training, after all...
